Cruising along 69-70 mph up hill lose power. Pullover and shut down engine, restart and it runs fine. What is causing this to happen? Only 68k on the car. Jetta Diesel 2000

 

hi i have got the same problem with my golf gt tdi i have took it to a friend of mine who works at a garage it looks like i have got to have my diesel pump replaced because it is losing fuel and sucking in air i am having it done sometime this week so i will let you know how it is after
i would have a look under your bonnet and if ya can see deisel on top of ur gear box you could have the same problem
