Hi there,

My keys broke twice - essentially the key blade separated from the key holder. The first one was replaced under warranty, but the second time VW wouldn't. Last time (which was about 2 weeks ago) the remote fell on the floor and the blade remained in ignition. I had long nose pliers though...

I attached a picture. Anybody else having issues with their keys ?

 

Complain to Volkswagen so they can put a recall issue. Thats the only way they will permanently fix it.

 

Later motors 2009+ you can't get keys cut only from a dealer.
