Hey ladies and gents, i have a question.
My service schedule and manual say my GTI requires oil change only every 5000 miles where im used to 3000.
I use full synthetic, and have been changing it out at 3000 to be sure, but am now questioning it. im sure the car is capable of the extra mileage but is in built to do so? I strive to take the best care of any car i own and would just like to know whats best for my v-dub?
any thoughts or knowledge on the subject are appreciated.

5K isn't a problem just make sure you use an oil filter that is capable of 5k plus miles...
