Hey what brand and specific kit did anyone who lowered their golf/GTI use? im finding prices from 200 to 2000 dollars so i need some guidance.

I can't help you with name brands but at least just stick to a name brand to be safe. MY bud just lowered a completely different car but after, shocks (if you need them) and springs, you'll run up $600-700. BTW Don't cut coils off youre existing springs, it's extremely dangerous. Just a stupid mans way of lowering his car because he's to cheap to put up the cash.

yeah, i know a few that have gone that way and regretted it, also heating the springs and compressing them, naother bad move. appreciate the help man

f k or kw adjustible coilovers i have f k s on my vento/jetta mk3. bigggggggggggg difference cost me $700 THOUGH. handles way better. check out www.fk-automotive.com
