here some tips that may help:

1 keep your car sheltered in a garage or sth as much as possible
1.2 If in freezing temperatures, keep your battery shielded from frost, most probably with cardboard or sth, NO STYROFOAM
2 Before starting turn on your lights, wait 2 sec. and turn 'em back off, this will warm up the battery.
3 Don't know if you have to pre-glow but if you have to, do it 2-3 times before actually starting the engine, it's a form of warming up for the engine.
4 if manual choke, pull it out, if auto-choke, never mind... ;-)

hope this will help :D

plz pm with further developments.

you realize its a fuel injected motor and "pumping" the gas dosent work like it does on a carburated motor so prolly cut that part out of your staring routine
