Emissions Workshop??
 

I've been having some trouble with my 2000 GTI GLX. The check engine light comes on and the information display says "Emission's Workshop" or "Engine Workshop". Every once in a while, the rpm will drop to about 2000 and the EPC light comes on. I can't get the car to go more than 20miles an hour at 2000 rpm. Has anyone had this problem? What could it be?
