Door Sensor?

when i open my passenger side door my dome light doesn't come on, when i open my drivers side door the light will come on. my alarm never used to set when any doors were open, i can now set it with my passenger side door open.

anyone know of a sensor or anything in the door that would cause that to happen? or fuse possibly?
