Does my gti have mods I don't know about?
 

Hey everyone,

Brand new to the forum here. I recently bought an 03 gti 1.8t w/ 72k miles. Absolutely love the car, butI was wondering why it has some different badging on it that I have never seen on other GTI's. On the rear hatch, instead of a 1.8t badge it has a 20vt badge (which I assume means the 20 valves that all 1.8t gti's have). Also, it has an r32 shifter, and a badge on the bottom of the steering wheel that has an audi symbol on top a red/black rectangle (it looks like an Audi RS badge). Is this just some stuff that a previous owner added or are there probably some other mods that I don't know about? I guess I might have to take it to the dealer to figure it out.
