Clicking Noise- Front Drivers (MK5 GTI)
I have a 2008 Volkswagen GTI DSG with 97k miles.
I have been having a problem trying to figure out this clicking sound. I know it’s not CV axle, just replaced last week. The clicking sound comes when I’m driving at a slow speed, slowing down and accelerating. It’s a constant clicking sound when you can hear it. I’ve also noticed that it gets more noticeable the more I drive the car. So if I only drive like a mile or two you usually don’t hear it but if I drive for like 10+ you hear it quite loudly. I feel it’s a suspension component because I can also hear it sometimes when I press on cars suspension when not moving and kind of hear it, as well as turn the steering wheel while not moving and hear it. I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you :) |

I’m usually really good at diagnosing issues but this has been stumping me for months. I haven’t noticed any issues with the driving quality at all just an annoying noise. |
