Air in fuel line

Default Air in fuel line

Hi there
I have A major problem with airbubbles comming out of the fuel filter clear line going into the fuel pump.Iv changed my fuel filter and traced all fuel lines as far as possible no problems found as such. If anybody else as had this problem and as a fix please can you help with any advice.
My car is a Vw Golf 19 tdi 2000 plate.

ok for 1, How did you get air in the fuel lines? 2, let your car run for a couple secs with the gas cap open, this SHOULD purge any air.

Thanks for your input.Tried your Idea last night still did not cure the problem.Iv had this problem now for about a year Iv changed the fuel filter a few times and also the 'o' rings,On the motorway the car gets very sluggish on overtaking and somtimes I have to pull over fills like the turbo cuts out??????

Just driven my golf back home on the motorway. In the heat its to be even more sluggish and also when I have full to 1/2 a tank it seems to be sluggish??????

umm if it's not the throttle body, or dirty injectors, than I'm sorry I dunno what it could, would have to research more.
