2008 GTi MK5 NEW VALVE COVER (PVC Delete On The Old)

I have a 2008 GTi MK5.
I just purchased a new valve cover with the gasket due to breaking a piece off the old valve cover trying to replace the gasket.

I have an oil catch can with the PVC delete kit under the hood but obviously there is a part of the PVC delete kit on the old valve cover. That piece at best is rigged on there & I'm going to end up detaching. Since I've never installed a PVC delete kit myself, my question here is what would be the best product to use to reinstall the PVC delete kit on the new valve cover once removed from the old one?

I bought this car this way it had an oil leak & coolant leak, so I was following Facebook groups on what the possibilities were. Then I got into changing the spark plugs & noticed oil in the 4th plug hole. I'm currently waiting to find a VW mechanic in my area to help me diagnose the issues at hand.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post & thanks in advance to anyone who helps with the question above or any advice/tips posted!

PS- The question above was as follows..."what would be the best product to use to reinstall on the new valve cover?..."
