2004 Golf TDI

As per the title I've got an old Gold TDI. The engine light has been off and off intermittently for a couple years. About a year ago another light popped on and it flashes red and beeps a few times. I checked the manual it indicated the rad fluid is low. This was not the case. I did he quick internet search and I think here I saw some threads that this was common and it was a bad sensor.

Okay so now I've decided to a bit more checking. I sent the car to a local shop, they kindly put it on their scan machine and here are the results;

16785 EGR (hard to read the letters)
18677 02 bank 1sensor 1
16512 coolant valve
16687 boost presure

They also told me I needed a oil stick funnel which I have ordered.

So is there anything on this list that really should be looked after? Is there anything I can do myself? I'm a little handy. Here is a picture of the red light, just below the temp gauge.
