I just merged onto the highway and all of a sudden the car beeps and I look down and my temp gauge is up to 260 degrees F. I got off and it cooled right down, I try to get back on and you can just watch the gauge climb again. I'm thinking the thermostat is stuck and I need a new one. What do you guys think is wrong? Where is the thermostat located on this car?
