Im new the the VW community and seeking some advise. I'm a proud owner of 01 GTi VR6 has 130k on it cold air-intake (Carbernio) and exhaust. I'm comtemplating what I mods I should do considering the milage. I love the car and would love to further develop, but am wondering if its even worth making it a project considering the miledge.

What engine work and prevenative maintaince should I focus on, for optimal life and performance, besides oil changes and inspecting condition of belts and hoses.

Finally, numbers...what realistic mods should i start first and prices..I wanna make this car faster turbo or supercharge? And the supporting modifactions that would have to complement these upgrades i.e drivetrain
