I imagine The kind of problems you run into with any car at those miles. Parts that wear out over time and eventually have to be replaced.
In my past experience with three cars before that i took in before 90K and drove through, ive replaced as little as plug and wires and as much as shocks, ball joints, water pumps, power steering pumps, batteries and brakes obviously.
It all depends on the previous owner and their care for the car. If they have a full service history for it, it sounds like its been in good hands, but with that many miles, you may still have a few parts go bad.
Others may know more for this particular car but this is my three or four cents. hope it helps

No, this is my first VW, those were american cars and these apparently go forever, so you may have no maintenance at all, or you may have a few parts to replace. I doubt it would be a ridiculous amount of work. and parts like these, that are bound to go out over time usually run a reasonable price.
