what is this spare part called?
 

hi

I need to buy a spare part and weld it in to my old golf II 1.6 D. It is a metal body panel that covers the left rear wheel well.
This is rusted through. On the attached pics, the red line shows where i need to cut the existing panel, and weld the replacement in. I will lift the car, take the wheel and suspension off and approach it from there.
I do not know what to order from a spare parts supplier. What is the name of this part?

good luck finding one its part of the body
might want to take to a body shop and see if they can repair it
