I had my car inspected by my university and they said I needed a transmission flush. I had a few issues with changing gears as well. I went to a Volkswagen dealership and got a flush, one that is hooked up from the machine and only flushes out old fluid and replaces it with new. A few weeks later, I was driving and my car wouldn't shift or move without putting on the gas peddle all the way. I stopped, my transmission fried, and transmission fluid all underneath the hood and leaking. It looks like a hose or something came off, causing the transmission fluid to go everywhere. Could this have been caused by when I got my transmission flush done? I have a '95 Volkswagen Golf, automatic.
