Default Tranny Prob

So I bought my car about a couple months ago and when i put it into reverse the tranny makes a grinding sound... now it was ok up till a couple of weeks ago. Now every time i put it into reverse it would make the grinding sound then would pop out of gear so i would just hold it into gear and it would be ok, now today i put it into reverse and it makes the same sound and keeps popping out even with me holding it, i was thinking that it might be a throw out bearing, or it is the reverse gear itself anybody? have ideas?

Really just a fork would make that kind of impact on my that whole gear? because when i put it into gear it grinds and then moves then locks up almost like a slip in a way.
