I bought a t reg volkswagen golf about 6 months ago and all of a sudden the heater has been starting to play up. The heater fan started making strange noises and losing power everytime i turn a corner. Then at my lunchbreak i was sitting in my car with the heating on and after about 25mins the fan started to make a strange noise and lose power. i switched off the engine and switched it back on and the heater was totally dead. no fan. that was yesterday. i tried about 5 times switching the engine on and off,no joy. but when i switched the engine on this morning the heater was working ok. what i have noticed since i purchased the car is fan sounds powerful but theres not much coming out the vents. any help would be grateful.

 

is this forum a waste of time or what?
