Surging
 

Hi all, I just was wondering if someone could give sugestions to a littlle problem I am having with my VW. Its a 1995 VW GOLF 3 and sometimes when I push on the gas it surges a little bit well kinda jerks about 3 to 4 times no matter what gear usually. It is manual trans.:confused: and has the 2.0 motor in it. it does it even more when it is cold. Thanks for anyones help and opinions. :D

Have you checked the fuel filter? That's a place to start. I wish I could help but I'm not the best when it comes to that stuff. Did you take it to a VW mechanic? They usually know best. Good luck.
