Default Rough/bouncy idle

I looked at the forum and a problem seems to not have been covered yet that im dealing with, at idle my cars RPMS are bouncy, i just gave it a tuneup which didnt fix the problem. I was told it could be the idle stablizer? What else could it be? I have to pass DEQ. Thanks a lot, Jesse

Default RE: Rough/bouncy idle

ive had a similar problem before in my dodge, didnt know what to do so i changed plugs like you said and then put seafoam in the gas tank. Basically itll just clean out the fuel lines and injectors, but its also safe to put in the intake, i did that as well as in the oil before an oil change. when i put it in the intake it sputtered for a little bit and threw some white smoke but after it burned the seafoam up it ran great. stuff works wonders for sure. worth a shot i would think its about 5 bucks i think.
anyway, but that stopped the rough idle in my truck, but i had a rough idle in my jeep as well a long time ago and it turned out to be an oil sending unit. i supposed it could be any number of sensors in reality, hope this helps
