Default Rear drum shoe adjustment

I noticed my pedal is a little soft and my ebrake isnt as tight as I would like it to be. I can spin my drums freely easier then they should be. On any other car theres a slot on the outside of the drum and you adjust the shoes out to where they should be. But I couldnt find any way to adjust these. Is there anyway to adjust these? Does it take a special VW tool?

You can take it to a non-dealer mechanic and it will cost you approximately $150.00 to do both sides. Remember, whatever you have done to one side it is best to have the same done to the other side to insure even braking.....
