Radio connections
Where can I find what each radio cable is for on a 2003 Golf CL? I am looking for the schematics in order to swap the stock cassette player for a Sony CDX-GT300 MP3 player.
I can't figure out the connections (the speakers are straight forward but the rest I can't figure out).

RE: Radio connections
Yeah, i had some trouble with my MK4 also...
you basically just match up the description of the wires... the factory yellow hooks up to the after market red i believe and the after market yellow has to directly hook up to the fuse panel.... its kind of a pain in the *** but definetly worth it.... there are a few wires in the aftermarket wireharness that don't matter, like the blue antenna wire, blue wire is only for remote (amplifier), and there is another one that i can't really remember....
hope that helped

RE: Radio connections
buy a wiring harness, its your best bet. It is a solid way to connect your radio, if that fails take it into a pro audio shop. Just for a nice warning, i tried to do it myself cause i did it in many other cars and i ahve a 96 mk3 golf and i blew out teh amp in the car that i didnt even know exsisited. I had the pemium audio stock idk if that makes the diff but id check the whole car before attempting or else youll have to take it in to be rewired, my deck was 180 but the price of rewiring was about 120 which sucks.
