Does anyone know how to get the radio code without paying for it?

Call at a VW center or uncode it

to get the serial number for your radio without pulling it out turn it off and hold 1 and 6 when turning it back on and it will flash two sets of 4 digits on the screen, which is your radio serial number. You can call the dealership with it and they can pull up the code. This worked in my 04 TSX.

yeah,,this definitely is a nice suggestion,,to get the serial number for your radio without pulling it out turn it off on its truck running boards..
