Default Query regarding Oil change on an inactive vehicle

Hi everyone, I have a Golf bought in March 2015. The previous engine oil change was performed in March 2018 and after that I left my Country (India) for better job opportunities. As a result the car has been lying idle for the past 3 years. Had planned to visit home last year but Covid extended it by another year.

The car still starts fine as I had asked my parents to start it once in a while, but other than that the car has not been driven in the past 3 years. It has only done 300kms in the past 3 years. Now I've reached back in India, I want to get the car serviced and have the oil and filters changed ASAP, but the service centre is at a distance of around 25 kms from my home.

Would it be safe to drive the car this distance to reach the service centre? I'm afraid that the old oil though unused may have lost its viscosity and may damage the engine if driven even if the distance is too less. Though the car hasn't been used, since it's been 3 years after the last oil change how should I proceed forward? Should I call for a flat bed or drive it to the Service centre?

I'm really confused. Would synthetic oil go bad even if the car hasn't been used?
