please help, volkswagon golf 2001

i have a volkswagon golf 2001. the brakes light will not turn off, they stay on premantly, does anyone know whats wrong

hey rasta girl.. i thinkyou have a problem with your Volkswagen Alternator or if it doesn't work you could see a Volkswagen RepairManual. Then post your reply if there would be a development.
