Default no fuel

I have a problem with my 1.8 single point injection golf Kreg 1993 MK3

The car suffered from a split in the intermediate flange between the carb and manifold (isn't flange and fantastic word flange, flange, flange). I replaced the flange and thought that was the end of my probkems, but still there is no fuel supply to the engine, the fuel pump works fine but no fuel makes it through the injection system so no go.

any ideas

I have a good fuel supply to the single point injector with fuel inlet pipe disconnected and the ignition switched on petrol everywhere. What controls the carb/injection system
