my 91 vw golf

i changed my spark plugs because of rough idel it helped that now i am blowing blue smoke out the exhaust i know its oil but what could be wrong

If it wasn't smoking before you changed the spark plugs the only thing I can think of is maybe a vacuum line coming loose. What engine do you have?
