mk4 golf engine problems
 

having problems with starting some times. the car will start but then shut down again after few seconds the idieling is also quite jumpy when this happens..

the other problem i have is the car shutting down while driving. this can happen at any time and any speed. the only warning i get is rev gauge starts jumping up and down and car starts to shutter abit. the car will then start no problem when i stop and turn the key..

the vagcom showed up an error with CamShaft position sensor which i have ordered and is in the post to me..

i have also cleaned the TB to try help solve my problem

but after some internet reasearch i have a feeling it could be something more aswell..

the engine is a AHW 1.4 16 valve
any help would be great
