Hi,

I have a 1981 Golf GLS (1.6 L) with a Keihin carburettor. - I have no idea what model it is. There are a few models to choose between: Keihin 1, DEO4A and 26/30 DC...maybe more. The only clue I've got is a metal plate saying 055129025A - does anybody know what model this indicates?

I bought a service kit that was supposed to fit the carb in my car but the new needle valve housing was about 5 mm longer and about 1 mm wider in diameter than the old so it did not fit. The kit is indicated to fit the DEO4A model soooooo I guess mine is not that model then OR there is a problem with the housing size....
