Default Identify this part??

hello, I have a VW Golf IV Variant,2001,TDI. Can you help me to figure out what this actualy is. It is around 5 cm long part. It is sticked on the windscreen from inside ( 10 cm to the right of the central mirror and above seat that is next to the drivers seat. You can check it out on the photos. It has a kind of a electrical plug inside and has two wires sticking out from it and going into the roof. Thanks

That's right, just that you press on the left bottom side on the picture three (then it opens up a little bit). It is like a big clip for holding something and has two wires and a jack-plug inside.. Did anyone at all ever see this??

No, there is only one jack (a kind of a plug) and two wires ging from
the whole thing into the roof (see maybe you can spot the wires above it on picture 3). Here is a picture so you can see what kind of a plug is it.

Yes it was. Never mind, I was just curious about it. It doesn't bother me. I posted this question on Yahoo Answers also and people say it is for some device for satelite navigation or tracking that was used in the car. Thanks
