Golf MK4 Engine cuts off
Hi! I bought a Golf 2000reg, but I have some problems with it.I did a full service, and also changed the engine speed sensor, and now on the diagnostic it doesn't say any other fault.The problem is after the engine is warm and i leave the car in neutral to run a little bit before traffic lights the engine cuts off.It doesn,t happen very often but it happens.The people at the garage said I have to wait a while because the engine speed sensor needs to get used(I don't believe that, what about my safety?) And another problem is that sometimes when the engine is warm the oil light starts flashing and the rev counter is dead.Any ideas what might be the problem?The water temp is ok, the oil level is ok.
