Greetings!

I've recently acquired VAG-COM from Ross-tech.com to use on my VW Golf III 1.6i (1995), but I can't quite piece up all the information it gives me, nor do I have a clue on how to check if the values shown are optimal or need to be tuned. Ross-tech told me that I should reference the "workshop manual". I found something called "repair manual" on the net, but it's not what they intended. Anyone got a clue about what they ment by "workshop manual" ?

hi it is now known more as a service and repair manual and the haynes service and repair manual is probably the most information packed book you will ever need they cost about £20 from halfords or try ebay you minght drop lucky hope this helps

I don't mind paying for it as it is a very useful source of information, but I must find it first.

LE: Indeed, found it on ebay for 2.99 pounds + shipping. Wonder why it hadn't crossed my mind sooner...
