RE: golf gt tdi 110 heater plug flashing

Hi I'm new here!

I've got an 85 Golf Diesel. When my glow plug light stays on it's an indication of water in the fuel line. In my older version VW installed a collection resivoir at the low point of the fuel line. You crawl under and drain out the fluid there and that gererally takes care of it.

That said. Mine comes on when I run SVO usually early in the morning before everything heats up. I stopped worrying about it after about 100.000 miles.

Hope this helps.
Bob
