Golf 4 : is it possible to add the on-board computer ?

I'd like to add the on-board computer to my golf 4. Like buy an old one and put it in my car.
Is that possible ? easy or not ?

OH and also what do you want the comp to do... Be like a normal home comp.. Or like a xontrol panel for your car..
