gas mileage?
 

im getting bad gas mileage. oil is new, i just recently put in a k and N air filter, the spark plugs are almost new.

what is wrong with my mochine???:confused::confused::confused:

what kind of car is it?? have u check the tires for proper inflation??

Its is a 1999 old bodystyle Golf, 2.0 litre engine
i check my tires every 2 weeks to ensure they are properly inflated.

You should throw in some of that injector cleaner stuff in ur gas tank. I use the chevron bottles. Have u replaced the fuel filter?

i tried the fuel injector cleaners, fuel system treatment, gas mileage improvers, but i have not tried the filter. i will give that a shot n see where it takes me.

It will definetely help you, i did so because me also had the same issue then i replaced the fuel filter now it is smoothly executing and no more brain shots regarding the mileage.

After a while that fuel filter becomes clogged. So, there isn't much fuel going through...
