SO i have a 1995 Gold CL and i just did my timing on my car and i hooked it up to the scanner, i got a 3 coolant codes and that means the check engine light should be on, but there isn't. so do golfs even have a check engine light or some kind of warning to lets you that somethings wrong with you car??

 

pre 96 dosnt seem to be as sensitive for turning on the light
