Default Central lock issue

Hi!

I got a golf4 2001 highline. The other day i found out something weird with my central lock. The key has an built in remote for the lock, unlock and lock feature. Both
functions works perfect just as before, but now only the unlock makes the lights flash. The lock just locks the doors. Until now, i have no idea how long its been this way or what i could have done to make it like this, both unlock and lock has flashed 2 fron lights and 2 back lights on "button press"

Anyone have any idea why this could be? If it was a fuse i cant understand why it still flashes on unlock? Just to be safe, i changed and confirmed it was the same with both keys i got.

Would be great if anyone had any info around the issue

Thanks!

UPDATE:
I have a friend with a 2003 Audi A3 who had the same issue. According to him this fixed itself after some time. Same problem as i have, flash on unlock but not on the locking part.
Either way; I hope anyone knows why this would happen.

Thanks again

Default RE: Central lock issue

I was sitting here writing this post earlier today. After posting it I had some braintease about all the doors. I didnt check it right away, but I wanted to check the
rear door. Anyways, I finally had some stuff outside todo and as I had hoped, the back rear door wasnt 100% closed. Open > close > lock = flash.

Now atleast I know whats up if it happens in the feature

Thanks for the reply.
