Cabin Air Filter

I drive a 1995 Golf GL with a 2.0L engine. I was wondering where the cabin air filter is located because I haven't been able to find it anywhere online and it is in desperate need of changing. Thanks for any help.

if it has one it is under the hood neer the windshield on the passenger side most 95s dont have one
