alloys
Hey peeps I was looking for new allows on my golf they are only like 13 inches and the look small and thin I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of the maximum size i can have, they just need beefing up to be honest.
And another thing whats all this mk business are all golf some sort of Mk or just certain ones because my car is a Golf CL thanks for advice i know nothing of cars and even less about golfs |
RE: alloys
MK isn't a model, it's the generation. That's what I was told at one time or another so, that's what I know, maybe someone else can elaborate more on the subject.

RE: alloys
It all depends on which model your car is. They have different bolt patterns and spacing on different models.
look around on the net a nd you can find sites that will give you a maximum size for any car, i think bigwheels.com still does it, just do some research and youll find places. as far as the MK's its just a name for the different models. kind of like when you hear people talking about the generations of a car. gen 1, gen 2, gen 3 , sure thats about as clear as mud the mk1 is the first body style of golf, the mk2 is the second body style, the mk3 is the third body style, not sure on years for these the mk4 is the body style from 99-05, the one right before the newest came out in 06 which is (drum roll please) the Mk5... make sense? |
RE: alloys
I have an mk3 the mk3 years are from 93-99.5
