94 golf Mark III SL:

Sunroof will not open or close. Thinking it's either a fuse or dirty contacts. Wondering where the fuse is located, or the motor. Or if something else is my problem. Any help would be great.

 

I don't know where the fuse box is on your car but, it shouldn't be hard to find. Start there. When you push the button can you hear the motor running?

 

Fuse box is on the lower driver's side. Legend doesn't show a sunroof fuse. There is no sound from a motor when i press on the sunroof button.

 

Yeah, the legends aren't very informative. If you want to know exactly what fuse it is you'll have to get a repair manual, a Chilton's is only about $20. That would also show you what relay it is and if it's not the fuse or the relay it's the motor.
