Hi,

Just bought a 2010 Golf and I have some questions about the stereo and blue tooth.

First, it states in the manual that you can stream music to the bluetooth receiver from your phone/mp3 player and have it play through the car speakers. I have been reading mixed statements online however. Some are saying you should be able to do this no matter what kind of stereo system you have and others state that you MUST have the touch screen system installed. I'm just looking for verification on this as I do not have the touch screen stereo in my Golf.

This leads me to my next question: If I wanted to upgrade my stereo to the touch screen model, does anyone know of any place I could go other than the dealer I bought it at? I was thinking of maybe trying to get a good deal elsewhere if at all possible.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have a 2010 Golf too, I think you have to have a radio that receive XM or Satellite or what ever. My stereo is like the very basic so I can't get the satellite radio.
And I was looking to get a touch screen radio too, if you have any luck finding one that is made for the 2010 golf you should hit me up.
