Suddenly my best friend's Golf is acting very strangely. The power windows, all interior dome/vanity lights, keyless entry/alarm and power moonroof are not working. Additionally, the power locks immediately unlock themselves after locking (but they are obviously getting power, because they work half right.)

What I've done so far: checked every fuse that looked like it had anything to do with the above symptoms. All check out fine. Checked the 3 fuses on top of the battery - all fine. Finally I unhooked the battery for a full minute to "reset" things - no dice.

Has anyone experienced this before? It started happening right after changing a tail light bulb that was burned out, but that couldn't possibly have anything to do with it. Could it? The brake lights are fine after changing the bulb.

Anything I haven't checked yet? Or is this some major thing? Thanks in advance!!
