1995 golfIII 2.0 gl from hell
 

hello i have 1995 vw golfIII gl it has spark and fuel..... timing has been checked and verified.. but the vehicle will backfire pop stutter ect new plugs and wires will start but not run and cannot seem to get any codes off it why is that? obd2 or 1.5? should i put a new cap and rotor just to be safe? can someone point me in the right direction

ok aorry to jump to a diff topic but prioritys the key has been lost what do i do to get that fix i can start the car jumping wires and such but need a permanent soulution can i just get one made its no chip or nothin regular metal key ?
