1992 Golf GLi MKII
 

Hi i just bought a 1992 golf gli mkII and the key has a VW logo which is a button, but it doesnt do anything, the key has a hole pointing down the key, is the button just there to light up the keywhole in the dark or is it for the alarm?, and if its the alarm, how do i get it working? thanks.

Also when i lower or raise the windows it goes in 10cm bits, so i have to push the button down a few times to get it fully open, is this normal or can i change it? thanks.
