1.9 tdi engine noise
 

i have a 02 golf and the turbo wiped ot, i installed a new unit and it started and ran fine for half an hour! it was smoking alot for a while i thought it was the remaining oil in the intake, the engine never lost oil pressure but did suck about a quart of oil in through the wiped turbo seal! after tne time frame it started rattling louder than usual and lost some power, it is still running on all four cyls and has plenty of oil pressue! just loud combustion knock???
