'04 golf 1.9 Turbo diesel sluggish
I ran out of fuel about a month ago. I filled it back up and turned it over. It started after a few tries, but ever since then (imediately), my engine light comes on with P0101. I did not purge the lines or pump.
When the car starts, I have no power. However, if I put the pedal to the mat for about 5seconds in park, it then kicks in, and I can put it into drive and drive away and come to speed. However, it feels like my turbo is dead. What is my problem? Why did this issue arise from running out of fuel? Are these connected, or merely coincidental? Thank you |

Thanks Keithuk.
From your response, you feel this is a sensor issue? I am confused because it goes away after I rev the engine. Will look in the other forum. Thanks again. |
I'm just showing you what that error code means. The MAF sensor could be faulty its quite common on TDI's.
