wheel fitment question

Default wheel fitment question

Hi all, I just have a quick issue i need to resolve..I have a guy with a 99 VW Cabrio that is wanting me to drive to meet him later today to buy my wheels but he is unsure that they will fit,and i do not want to waste time driving to meet him..My wheels are 17"x7 with a +40 offset and have 215/45/17 tires..His car is all stock suspension..will they work ok? thanks in advance for the help

Alloy wheels can be excellent value on eBay and the huge savings the new price, but there are many traps and hidden dimensions jargon, until it was too late, and you do not think, they do not apply, this is usually why many people buy stores to ensure perfect fitting new wheels, but with the following information, you should not go far wrong.
