Default What part do I need to buy

Okay, so I bought this 1999 volvo cabrio that had been sitting for 3 years. My husband and I bought the pcv valve and the mass air sensor (new)since there was some oil in the intake. This was expensive to put in. Everything was okay for a while but now, we have found that oil is coming into the intake again. There are times that we've ben driving and the car stops running, which is why we now have it parked. The volvo does not have a turbo engine. I was told by a mechanic that it could be a sensor. What's the name of the part tha I need to buy that would fix this problem.

Unfortunately the 2.0 is notorious for blowing oil into the intake and there are really few thing you can do about it. I don't know why putting in a MAF sensor would be so expensive you could easily do it yourself. What I would suggest is just to keep a can of MAF cleaner with you and spray it clean every now and then. Does the oil make it all the way down to the air filter? And is your car a 99 or 99.5?

I had the same oil leak dripping down to the intake, it was the valve cover gasket, about $200 part and labor. While you are at it, check the Timming Belt condition.
