What happened to my VW Cabrio?
 

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for my poor VW problem :( ....

I started the engine drove about half a block & my car just stopped, died. Tried to restart the engine but no luck. It sounded like it was turning over only there was a horrible thumping sound coming from what sounded like the exhausted almost like the engine was backfiring? Called a tow truck & he tried a boost but that didn't help. I just had it serviced 2 weeks ago. Said she was running good. Any ideas?

Perhaps, actual problem is with your Volkswagen's engine. So, this might be less possibilities to fix this issue very easily. But, you really need an expert here or now visit to the Volkswagon car service centre. Because, they can fix this issue more intelligently.

Refer her to a mechanic now..it'd be rather better to show her off to a mechanic rather than discussing it out here.

it has gone out of service better to get consulted with a good mechanic for this query.....

Put it into the run position and see if there's any codes if you have a scanner and report back. That's always the first step...
